Q: What is The Enchanted Jar?
A: The Enchanted Jar is a small-batch business offering handcrafted body oils, body butters, soaps, and salves. 

Q: Are your products handmade?
A: Yes! Every item is lovingly handcrafted with natural ingredients and thoughtful intention. No mass production, just heart-crafted magic.

Q: Do you use natural ingredients?
A: At The Enchanted Jar, we use natural, skin-loving ingredients whenever possible, including nourishing plant oils, butters, clays, botanicals, and essential oils. Some products also contain phthalate-free, skin-safe fragrance oils to create unique scents that cannot be achieved with essential oils alone. Each product listing includes a full ingredient list so you can shop with confidence.

Q: My body butter has melted what can I do?

A: Sorry to hear that! I ensure that proper measures are taken to prevent total melting. If some melting has occurred, especially during the hot months, please place your body butter in the fridge for an hour or two.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking info once your parcel begins its enchanted journey to you.

Q: Where do you ship?
A: We currently ship within the United States. 

Q: What if my item arrives damaged?
A: Oh no! Please email us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We’ll gladly replace or refund your order.

Product Questions

Q: Are your oils safe for sensitive skin?

A: Many of our blends are formulated with gentle carriers and essential oils, but we always recommend patch testing first. Each listing includes ingredient details.

Q: How should I store my products?

A: Store your products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Natural ingredients can soften, melt, or change in appearance when exposed to extreme temperatures, but this does not necessarily affect product performance. If they melt please refrigerate for a few hours. 

Q: Do your products contain preservatives?

A: Most of our body oils, body butters, salves, and soaps do not require traditional preservatives because they contain little to no water. We recommend storing products in a cool, dry place and using clean hands or utensils when applicable to maintain freshness.

Q: What’s your return/refund policy?
A: Due to the handmade and hygienic nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if there’s an issue with your order, we’ll make it right — see our Returns & Refund Policy
